Richard Avelar & Associates is currently looking for energetic and highly motivated individuals for the following positions:

Project Architect
Responsible for developing specifications, scope of work, analyzing bids, preparing AIA contracts and coordinating and preparing architectural construction documents.  5-10 years of experience required.

Drafts Person (CAD)/Cost Estimator
Responsible for blueprint and plan review, assist in developing specifications, prioritization schedules, repair schemes, value engineering, unit price cost estimating, and CAD drawings.

Construction Technician
Responsible for on-site inspections and analysis of construction defects and generating scope of repairs for as-built conditions of existing projects.  Also responsible for project reports, field investigations and documentation.

Construction Manager
Responsible for coordination and communication of scope of work requirements to contractors; review construction services for compliance with contractual obligations; liaison between CID, design professionals, and contractors; review and approve contractor payments, Change Orders, and Requests for Information.
