In 2000, Richard Avelar and Associates formed Reconstruction Services Company, a general contracting company, which specializes in remedial construction of residential and commercial projects. The company was formed to complement the work of Richard Avelar and Associates.

Reconstruction Services Company will undertake projects on a design/build basis to facilitate the reconstruction process after completion of litigation. Clients who have major deferred maintenance projects pending are also a good candidate for these design/build services.

Reconstruction Services is a natural extension of Richard Avelar and Associates as it combines the experience of its principals in all aspects of design and construction, with the specific expertise of the construction litigation and reconstruction arena. In offering this service, the reconstruction process can be simplified and expedited in a cost effective and fully comprehensive manner.
